Claiming Land with GriefPrevention
GriefPrevention allows you to protect your builds from griefers by claiming land using a Golden Shovel. Follow this guide to learn how to properly claim, expand, and manage your land.
🏠 How to Claim Land
Step 1: Get a Golden Shovel
To start claiming land, you need a Golden Shovel. You can obtain one by crafting it or purchasing it from the server shop.
Step 2: Start a Claim
Hold your Golden Shovel.
Right-click two opposite corners of the area you want to claim.
The claim boundaries will be highlighted with gold and glowstone blocks.
You will see a confirmation message that the land is claimed.
Step 3: Expanding a Claim
Hold the Golden Shovel.
Right-click any corner of your existing claim.
Right-click a new location to expand the claim.
